NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING CONCERNING A DATA CENTER AND BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS) AMENDMENT AND A CONSERVATION AND AGRICULTURAL RURAL DISTRICT AMENDMENT TO THE LIBERTY TOWNSHIP ZONING CHAPTER OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LIBERTY
Please take notice that the Liberty Township Board of Supervisors shall be holding a public hearing in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code Act of 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended (53 P.S. 10101 et seq.) on August 5, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the Liberty Township Offices, 39 Topper Road, Fairfield, (Adams County), Pennsylvania, 17320. Immediately after the public hearing the Board shall consider enactment of an ordinance providing regulations for Data Centers and BESS to be located in the Township and an ordinance revising the Agricultural and Conservation District Zoning requirements during a meeting of the Board to be held at the same location. The purpose of the hearing shall be to gather public comment concerning the proposed amendments.
Please take further notice that copies of the proposed amendments may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof from the Township Secretary at the Township office building.
